Campaign 1 – Standing Up for Safe Communities
Anti-social behaviour can make people’s lives a misery. In Clydesdale, constituents often contact me to report repeated acts of crime and anti-social behaviour in their area. I believe we need to challenge unacceptable behaviour where it occurs and take positive action to tackle its causes.

Campaign 2: Primary Health Care
Improving local health services is vital to securing good quality health care for the people of Clydesdale. In campaigning for this, I have been urging NHS Lanarkshire and the Cabinet Secretary for Health, Nicola Sturgeon MSP, to commit to the previous Scottish Executive’s commitment to build several new facilities in the constituency.

Campaign 3: Better Deal on Buses

Statistics relating to Scotland show that bus transport is the single most popular form of public transport with 482 million journeys made per year.

Unfortunately, the level of service that passengers can expect varies from location to location.  Here in Clydesdale, the local bus service is not as comprehensive as it could be and major bus links in the evenings and on Sundays are limited to say the least.
